The academic infrastructure of NICE revolves around the fact that teaching/learning is a mutual responsibility of the students and educators, whose productive outcome will be shared by all the individuals involved in the learning process.

NICE have developed its library to cater to the requirements of its students by assisting and guiding them to enhance their studies and researches through books. NICE Library includes a wide collection of reference books, research journals and other publications offering a huge treasure of enriched knowledge to our students.

NICE library not only contains a large collection of printed books related to various fields and topics but also have many eBooks available on computer for students. Library is also connected with HEC digital library that provides online access to a huge database of eBooks, journals and publications.

NICE Library also subscribes to a number of magazines and journals to update student’s knowledge on the current developments taking place nationally and internationally. NICE also frequently improve its library by the addition of an extensive variety of quality books that can cater to the needs of the students and its faculty.

In the modern era, the incorporation of information technology in the curriculum is the most important factor contributing towards the growth and personal development of the students. Therefore, the curriculum of NICE has been designed in a way that necessitates the students of NICE to obtain sufficient knowledge in the fields of computers thereby providing them with the facility to contribute effectively in their related fields.

NICE identifying the growing need for computer understanding and utilization has developed well equipped and modern computer laboratories at its campuses. Our computer laboratories provide state of the art instructional and research computing facilities to students and faculty members.

Computer Labs offer wide range of services to our students including networked environment of servers and work stations running different operating systems, on-campus opportunities to complete assignments, perform research and access the internet. Computer labs are also equipped to function as a smart classroom where Faculty members can teach technology-related courses and have them practiced by students on site.

NICE is continuously focusing on improving the research and development activities of the institute. We aim at exploring dynamic business education through research analysis. In this regard, our faculty members are expected to assign at least one formal research report at the end of the semester. Various case studies and research-based assignments ld are given to the students to create the awareness of research analysis in our future business leaders.

NICE is deeply involved in the area of research & development. It strongly believes that in order to provide students with quality education, great emphasis should be given on research work, which, in general practice, is lacking from most of the other institutes.

The academic council makes sure that sufficient amount of research work is done while designing a curriculum and teaching methodologies. It involves in-depth study of the past & latest trends in technology, business, economics, sociology, and all other aspects that affect the concepts and implementation of new art, sciences, and methodologies.

Besides, it is also mandatory for NICE students to conduct research work at different levels based on their related field of study/ specialization and prepare research papers which are then evaluated by the senior faculty members of the related department and the academic council.

Newports Institute of Communications & Economics publishes a monthly journal on business and technology advancements to keep its students abreast of the latest happenings in international research, markets and industry.

This journal also appreciates the remarkable work of its students by including their research papers. It also includes articles written by its faculty members involved in research work, planning and implementation of new techniques, methodologies and technologies.

We aim at exploring dynamic business education through research analysis reports and journals. In this regard, our faculty members are expected to assign at least one formal research report at the end of the semester and various case studies and research-based assignments during the course of semester for creating the awareness of research analysis in our future business leaders.

The student council of NICE though in its early stage but has made tremendous efforts towards arranging academic related activities that have been very fruitful and effective for the progress and development of the Institute. The student council also arranges many social and fun festivities that encourage student participation.

Physical activities of the students are very essential for their personal growth and development therefore NICE provides its students with an opportunity to actively participate in various events related to sports.

Indoor sports such as table tennis, badminton, throw ball, volleyball and basketball are offered in the college campus. Also, NICE has table tennis hall and badminton court available in the campus.

For outdoor sports such as cricket, football and hockey, KMC sports complex is utilized that is located right in front of the Institute campus.

NICE has a dinning facility for their students where they can enjoy their meal with their colleagues and can also share their valuable ideas in a relaxing atmosphere.
